The Sea Point Pavillion and Promenade is one of Cape Town's best and most welcoming places for ALL people. It's unpretentious yet beautiful, and is untainted by consumerism madness. It's a true public space and should stay that way. |

| Valerie Rossi | Signed on: Sun 13 Apr 2008 13:03:33 UTC This is a major asset for Cape Town. To change it from public open space in any way would be criminal. |

| Justin Brett | Signed on: Sun 13 Apr 2008 08:44:16 UTC Developers will destroy our beautiful city if not kept in check. A number of historically important buildings have already been demolished to make way for new hotels in the run up to the World Cup in 2010, Rhodes House being one such example, and many still are ear-marked for development. My fear is that our city will have lost its soul by 2010. |
