I walk along the beachfront almost every day. This is one of the few areas still open to the public and it would be a great shame to take this away. It is used by not only locals like myself, but other communities too.

The Sea Point Pavilion has become an important and special landmark for the city of Cape Town and it's community. Tearing it down for commercial gain would be doing the children, families, citizens, and City of Cape Town a tragic disservice.

I use these areas recreationally and would hate to see it being developed for commercial puposes. It is a unique place for the people of Cape Town to gather and relax and should not be corrupted by this kind of ill conceived development.

This is par of our heritage and should be protected. Some of my fondest memeories are from the pavilion and I hope to give my kids the same experiences I had.

The beachfront facilities should be open to all, it is city land that should not be used for commercial gain and opportunistic business people to exploit. there are numerous underprivileged school children who get to use the pools thorughout summer as their schools do not have pools of their own. It is amazing to see them having their fun in such a spectacular setting. These facilities housl be upgraded if there is money to be spent but there should not be a demolishen nor redevelopment to the exclusion of children like those currently using it every season.

Don't destroy what's left of our open spaces in our city's for the sake of development. People need space, nature and fresh air to keep
    sane!

I run on the promenade every morning and walk there most evenings and it would be a shame if such a well-used, safe public area was forced to make way for a shopping centre - we have enough of those surely!?
